About
I began my love for wildlife research my first year of college, when I assisted post-doctoral researchers in electrofishing to collect and analyze samples of aquatic species on the Arnold Air Force Base. Working closely with a variety of students and scientists alike, I discovered how important scientific research is to the continuance of wildlife conservation. I assisted in various research projects during my time at Tennessee Technological University, including data collection to assess the health of the federally endangered flower, Physaria globosa, and collecting water samples for the environmental DNA surveillance of the federally endangered Pygmy Madtom (Noturus stanauli) in the Clinch River in Tennessee and Virginia.

I continue my passion for wildlife research at the University of Florida, working closely with the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Department of Undergraduate Research.
